For something that most people can’t stand the thought of being, they find themselves falling into the terrible category of the wretched “Average.”
But what is so bad about being “average” anyways?
And if you feel that way about where you currently are in life. Then, great.
You can stop reading here and continue to Netflix binge and crush Pringles and pretzels while you quench your dry mouth with Gatorade and Diet Coke.

But for the rest of the readers, what is it that separates the Average from the Elite?
It is said that Average performers practice until they can get it right.
But the Elite, they practice until they CAN’T GET IT WRONG.
Think about that for a moment. Practicing until your performance is sufficient or practicing until you couldn’t fail.
As a society, we are obsessed with creating better ways as opposed to maintaining. Yet, we continuously strive for uncovering hidden shortcuts and hacks in order to achieve our greatness.

How much better could you be if you worked on mastering your craft or field, as opposed to skimming and cheat-coding your way to the next promotion?
What would the SEALs perform like if they just let anyone in? If they just handed out missions to everyone who was “motivated” enough to sign their name on a dotted line?
Pretty average… maybe.
So, the next time you sip your morning cup of coffee and pull up to your keyboard, ask yourself:
Do I want to perform average today, or do I want to be elite, tomorrow?
