103 years ago, on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, the Allied Forces signed an armistice agreement with the Germans in Compiègne, France, effectively ending World War One. The world has celebrated November 11th since then under many names, including Armistice Day, Remembrance Day, and here in the United States, Veterans Day.
We salute veterans' past, present, and future.
I'm proud to have served and to continue to serve my Veteran brothers and sisters through organizations like the Acadiana Veterans Alliance.
