Position Overview
We are committed to providing exceptional customer service and with that, we are adding a support team member to our growing insurance agency. This role will be responsible for processing new business leads and existing business service requests - designed to support our existing Insurance Advisors; this role will not be responsible for bringing in new business. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, have a proactive work ethic and be able to provide excellent customer service.
Essential Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities can change or expand at any time.
- Develop complete client profiles and applications for new and renewal business, under the direction of Agency Management
- Use a client-focused, needs-based review process to identify client needs and educate clients about their specific insurance options
- Design a unique insurance and risk management plan for clients that aligns with their specific needs, as assigned and directed by Agency Management
- Establish rapport to build, expand and solidify customer relationships
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service when responding to requests from clients and insurance carriers
- Requests can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, account summaries, coverage explanations, eligibility, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, billing clarification, etc.
- Maintain day to day client and agency files with proper records, according to company procedures, in order to satisfy internal and external auditing requirements
- Have superior product knowledge and be familiar with the specific products offered by the Agency's carriers
- Manage workflow and adjust priorities as necessary
- Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day
Qualifications/Requirements:
